Super People is a battle royale game similar in concept to Fortnite, but with more realistic characters and surroundings, as well as more adult themes (akin to PUBG). There are 14 classes of characters to choose from, and each offers a different set of skills and superpowers in the arena.
Choosing a class of character to play with requires considering both your comfort level with the class and the skills the character brings. Trying out a range of classes is to your benefit when deciding which works best for you and your gameplay style, but some are just better suited to getting a win than others.
Titan
The Titan is an excellent class to pick if you plan to do a lot of long travel in open areas. This class has the Titan Aegis, a shield that allows your character to rush forward to attack enemies, or hunker down by creating a barrier that extends wider and stays put in the ground until the cooldown period is over.
The Titan class also comes with perks that can be beneficial — not just for you, but for your allies, too. Bio Bulwark boosts your and your allies’ HP, giving you a chance to survive in tougher skirmishes. There’s also the Undertaker perk that maps out fallen opponents that you can loot.
Gas Soldier
The Gas Soldier will likely be your favorite class if you like stealthy but destructive kills. This class specializes in toxic and fire-based weapons, including the use of a Flamethrower that can launch highly effective fireballs roughly every minute.
Perks for the Gas Soldier are about speed and damage. Using the Smoke Screen will boost your speed between three and 25 percent based on your character’s level. If you use the M416S weapon, you’ll get a Damage Upgrade that tops out at a 30 percent increase to your damage dealt.
Strike Force
If you’re a fan of up-close-and-personal attacks, the Strike Force class might be your pick. This gives your character a Dash Ultimate that increases movement speed by 200 percent for five seconds, and gives you a Bulletproof Shield when you’re hit — though the cooldown depends on your level.
Perks with the Strike Force class also encourage close attacks, like the Lacerating Rounds that add Bleed to enemies, and Rapid Fire, which increases both fire rate and magazine capacity. That said, if you’re farther away from your enemies, you get the Long-Range Defense perk that decreases the amount of damage you’ll take from incoming hits.
Teleporter
The Teleporter class is great if you’re all about strategy and the element of surprise. You’ll be able to teleport (within a certain range) to another spot on the map, allowing you to ambush enemies. This class also comes with a lot of movement speed perks, like Quick Fix, which increases your speed based on level and the weapon being used.
The Teleporter class is helpful if you plan on forming alliances because it has the Field Medic perk that increases your and your allies’ HP whenever you consume an Energy Bar. Creating an alliance will build a wall of security around you to get your farther in the match, then you can teleport away when it’s time to turn the tide.
Gatling Soldier
Choosing the Gatling Soldier class for your character offers you higher HP and increased weapon power. There are a few different weapons that work with this class, all of which are easy to obtain in the arena and massively powerful, but your best bet will be to equip your character with the Gatling Gun — it’ll get a larger magazine capacity and increased damage from perks.
Other perks include the Dodge Roll and Tactical Slide — both of which make your character more tactical in a fight — and Smart Bullet, which gives your bullets the ability to curve toward the target slightly for increased odds of impact.
Shotgun Master
The Shotgun Master class gives you the ability to mix close-range shooting with evasiveness — sort of like mixing Teleporter and Strike Force together. Shotguns aren’t always a favorite weapon because they require being close to the target to use, but if your character is a Shotgun Master they have higher effectiveness and damage with one.
Shotgun Masters can also do high jumps to get away from enemies quickly, and once you land you’ll get a brief increase to your already powerful damage, so you can shoot-jump-shoot to take out an opponent without ever being hit yourself. The Fast Reload perk fixes the issue of constantly needing to reload your shotgun, as it gives a maximum of 30 percent higher firing rate and reload speed.
Sniper
When playing shooters, the Sniper is always going to be a favorite because it increases your chances of hitting targets while decreasing your chances of being hit by them. The Sniper class in Super People is no different. Your Ultimate — In Cold Blood — gives you a brief 50 percent increase to your damage output, as well as fire rate and speed. This is especially helpful because the Sniper class works well with most of the weapons in the armory.
The Sniper also comes with a Heartbeat Sensor that tracks and targets enemies nearby for faster elimination. On top of this ability, you’ll get perks like Camouflage and Covert Ops to make your character stealthier, allowing you to go undetected even in close range to enemies.
Driver
If you’re not a fan of running all over the map to either find or avoid enemies, the Driver might be the class for you. This class can summon a Monster Truck with their Ultimate, which is as awesome as it is durable. Being a Driver will give you an edge when building an alliance early in the match since you’ll bring faster mobility to the table, and give you extra protection for you until the time comes to turn on one another.
Your character will also have the Smart Detector perk, which locates vehicles near you for faster travel, and at higher levels will let you know if there are nearby enemies using Teleport. Defensively, you’ll get perks like Mounted Combat (shooting from a moving vehicle with accuracy) and High-Speed Smart Bullet (bullets curve to hit targets).
Seeker
The Seeker class is a bit of a combination of the Sniper and Strike Force, taking the best elements of both classes for your convenience. Putting your character in this class makes them stealthy but also more impactful when inflicting damage without having to sink a lot of time into upgrading skills and weapons. Seeker class is definitely for the strategic players, not the ones wanting to be in the thick of it; if you want to be able to set up base in a building and pick off opponents, this is your class.
Seekers have Heartbeat Sensor, Hostiles Detected, and Landing Zone Scan to locate nearby enemies and target them effectively. You’ll also get the Border Control perk that gives you extra defense when you’re near the Ice Storm boundary line.
Nuclear
The Nuclear class is about swift damage and doesn’t care about being subtle – making it the perfect class if you’re not great with stealth, or just like to dive into the fray head first. The Ultimate for this class is Tactical Nuke, which damages anyone in the drop zone with one hit. There’s a Damage Upgrade when using the M416S, as well, which is one of the most versatile weapons in the game.
The Spatial Awareness perk gives your character the ability to locate enemies within a certain range, and Homeground: Trees gives you increased damage based on level whenever you fire at targets from behind the trees. Basically, from the second a Nuclear character hits the ground, they are doling out damage and taking out opponents.
